"Freddy" Deeb moved from his home in Lebanon to the United States to attend college. He lived in Logan Utah and was in his senior year of mechanical engineering when the war in his home land broke out and he lost all touch with his family. Unable to work because of his student visa and unable to stay in school he began playing poker in Wendover on the Utah/Nevada border and has never looked back. He likes to point out that the only paying job he has ever had is poker player. Wearing his trademark "lucky" shirt he can be seen at many final tables.
