John from Long Beach, CA, is ranked no 2 in this years Player of the Year 2005. Nicknamed "Razor" he was born in Vietnam, grew up in Northern California, and now lives in Long Beach.


John gained his nickname due to a penchant for extremely aggressive play, continually raising and pressuring his opponents. He's been playing poker for nearly half of his 30 years, and his congenial, charming, go-for-broke demeanor is sure to gain him many fans as he continues his rapid ascent through the ranks of professional poker. His successes to date include 2 World Poker Open bracelets and a seat at the WPT World Championship final table.


Pham's goal is to win big, claim a Player of the Year title, and take off a half-year to travel the world. Smiling all the way, as usual.
