OK, I'll admit it, I was lost there for a while. Until, that is, I met a new friend, Adam Yuen, a dealer from Sydney, Australia. He expalined the format, times, etc. most informative, 'Cheers, mate". This (roughly) is how it goes:
Jan. 5th - Flight 1 - 360 players start off at mid-day. Play continues until there are 180 left.
Jan. 6th - Flight 2 - Another 360 players dive in until they're down to 180.
Jan. 7th, 8th & 9th - The two groups merge to form another 360. these whittle away at each other until
Tuesday Jan.10th - The final 6 go head to head to determine who wears the crown
Adam has an interesting life. A self-confessed poker obsessive, he became a dealer to improve his game and has since found out that he's a damn fine dealer. The game has taken him all over the world; 2005 saw him in Aruba and before that he dealt at the WSOP in Vegas.

We liked him so much, we invited him back to our clubhouse for a game - maybe if he gets a break he'll come along.
