12.00pm Clock is started. Level 11: Ante 300 Blinds are 1000-2000
12.25pm First Player out of the tournament is Glen Blankenship. Finishes in 9th place.
Glen went 'All-In' with A 3 and Chris Cornell chased him with K Q
The flop produced a K with no relief for Blankenship on either the turn or the river for Glen. Exits philosophically.

1.00pm The flop drops 7 4 6 and only 2 players in play, Shannon Shorr and Chris Cornell. Shannon re-raises, Chris thinks and then calls. The turn brings a 9. Shannon raises 40k, straight away Chris goes all in. Shannon thinks and thinks then folds. He has just lost a sizeable pot of 91k to Chris Cornell.
1.12pm
HUGE HAND ALERT
Flop is 10 8 3. Raymi Sanchez goes 'All-In' and Shannon Shorr calls him. Sanchez has K K and Shannon has A A
The turn delivers a hefty K, delivering Sanchez King trips. Everybody goes wild.....Shannon isn't happy..
Then the river...WOW! A and Shannon knocks out Sanchez with nut trips.
Raymi Sanchez is out and finishes 8th, collecting $19,176 in prize money.

Shannon Shorr can't believe how close that was.

Raymi Sanchez Eliminated
1.25pm Now on a 15 minute break.
1.40pm Clock started and now on level 12: Ante 400 and the Blinds are 1200-2400.
1.52pm
HUGE HAND ALERT!
Charles Flicker goes 'All-In' preflop. Everyone folds exept Shannon Shorr. Shannon calls. Cards are revealed and showing that Charles has 4 6 suited while Shannon has Q Q.
The flop.... 4 6 7 WOW, big cheer from the crowd. Charles has 2 pairs.
Turn is a K,
River's an A. Charles has doubled up.

2.10pm Shannon Shorr raises to 10k, Troy Otto re-raises and the pot is now 80K. Only person left is Chris Cornell and he goes 'All-In'. Shannon folds. Troy take a little time to think as this could put him out of the compitition. after at least 5 mins. He fold and is not best pleased as Chris snags the 80k pot.
2.15pm
Flop is 2 2 10 and the turn is 3, it is up to Shannon Shorr, (I tell you, he's the hardest working man out there today) the only other player with an interest being William Erickson. Shannon take a while to think then goes 'All-In'. William then folds and Shannon sneaks off with the pot.
2.29pm Troy Otto goes all in on the flop, Shannon Shorr thinks and then calls.
Troy has 5 8 (bigger balls than....) and Shannon has 3 6suited - wild cards. Nothing more plays so Troy wins with 8 high....
2.31pm Sebastian Riviere has just lost a substantial wad to Chris Cornell. Sebastian folded on the River - missed the details, sorry!

2.45pm
Huge Hand Alert
William Erickson goes all in with $17,300, feeling he needs to make a statement. Charles Flicker thinks....and thinks....and thinks..counts his chips then folds.
Chris Cornell calls him and displays Q 9 while William has A K.
The flop brings them both a pair with a 9 for Cornell and a K for Erickson.
The turn: a Q! Gives Chris 2 pairs. Down to the river: and a 4. William Erickson is out of the Canadian Poker Championship 2006. He finishes 7th with $23,970 in prize money.

3.08
Chris Cornell and Troy Otto each drop 7k on the bet. Flop comes and it is Q Q 2. Cornell then bets 30k and Troy Otto folds.
3.09pm
Shannon Shorr snaffles a nice pot out of Chris Cornell.
Now on a 15 min Break... by looking at the table the chip leaders appear to be Shannon Shorr and Chris Cornell. Just a guess but Charles Flicker seems to have the lowest chip count.
We at Bahamas Poker Blog have enjoyed our week so far. When a tournament starts, we like to pick a couple of players and have little side bets with each other as to which of our chosen competitors makes it further.
Believe it or not, in the Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure, Dave the Gooner picked Steve Paul-Ambrose, the eventual winner, on day 1. All my choices were out by day 2. Now you know that such selections are pure luck, so do I, but try telling him.
Jazz's big pick for this event is Troy Otto who's made it to the last 27 with a brash display of audatious talent. I went with David Matthew (for the highly scientific reason that I liked his T-shirt).
However, we were all rooting for Scott, a fellow blogger at DoubleAs, who was also here for the Pokerstarsin early January. We read his stuff regularly and were pleased to see him make the final 54, only to be disappointed when he dropped late in the afternoon.
We'll check back with a full report of Day 3 in a little while.
